A Consultant Ophthalmic surgeon at the Oxford University Hospital, with sub-specialty interest in glaucoma, trauma and complex cataract surgery. Gurjeet Jutley is the glaucoma expert at the OUH, offering minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), endoscopic cyclophotocoagulation laser treatments and conventional glaucoma surgery (including both trabeculectomy and tube surgeries). Gurjeet Jutley completed ophthalmology training in the prestigious North Thames deanery, including five years at both Moorfields and Western Eye hospitals.
Gurjeet Jutley was a lecturer at the University College London Ophthalmology MSc, author of the popular textbook ‘Ophthalmology at a glance’ and use to set exams for the International Council of Ophthalmology. Dr Gurjeet Jutley has multiple international presentations, textbook chapters, peer-reviewed publications and has won five post-graduate prizes, including the Ethicon scholarship.
